Bathymetry

Bathymetry is like a map of what’s under the water in an ocean, lake, or river. It helps scientists learn more about the environment under the water. It can help us figure out what animals live in the water and how we can take care of them. It can also help us with things like boats and ships - helping us to know how deep the water is so we don't crash.
