Desaparecidos
Desaparecidos are people who have disappeared and are not seen or heard from anymore. They might have been kidnapped or killed, or they might have run away and changed their identity, but nobody knows for sure. It is an important issue for families and communities when someone disappears, because it leaves them to wonder what has happened.
