Okay, kiddo, so you know how we need to eat food to be healthy and grow strong? Well, there are some special things in our food called dietary minerals that our body needs to stay healthy and work properly.

You know how you like to play with toys and build things with blocks? Well, our body is like a big toy that needs different pieces to build it up and make it work right. Dietary minerals are some of those important pieces.

There are lots of different dietary minerals, like calcium, iron, and zinc. They come from foods like milk, meat, and veggies. Just like you need all different colors of blocks to make a cool tower, we need to eat all different kinds of foods to get all the minerals we need.

These minerals help keep our bones strong and our blood healthy. They also help our body do important things like turn food into energy and carry oxygen to our cells.

So, eating a balanced diet with lots of different kinds of foods will help make sure we get all the dietary minerals our body needs to stay healthy and strong!
