Document classification

Document classification is a way of using computers to take a document (like a picture or a piece of writing) and sort it into different categories. For example, a computer could look at an article about sports and put it into a folder called ‘sports’. It works by the computer looking at the words and information inside the document and using them to decide which category the document belongs in.
