When we ask a question, we are asking for information. Sometimes, we want to ask two questions at the same time, which is called a double question. For example, we might ask, "Are you going to eat dinner or go to bed?" This is a double question because we are asking about two different things (eating dinner and going to bed) at the same time.
Double questions can be tricky because it is important to answer both parts of the question separately. If someone asks us, "Do you like pizza and ice cream?" we need to answer whether we like pizza and whether we like ice cream, instead of just saying "yes" or "no" without specifying which food we are talking about.
So, if someone asks you a double question, make sure you understand both parts of the question and answer each part separately. That way, you will give the person the information they are looking for.
