ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Double-beam drawbridge

A double-beam drawbridge is like a bridge, but it can be moved up and down. When the bridge is down, people and cars can drive across it, just like a regular bridge. But when the bridge needs to be moved up, it's separated into two parts - like two beams - and it can be lifted up, like a drawbridge in a castle! This way, boats can pass underneath the bridge, or the bridge can close off a road or path.
