ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Draft resistance

Draft resistance is when people refuse to join the military and serve in a war. This could be because they don't agree with the war, or maybe they don't want to hurt people, or maybe they don't want to leave their homes and families. It's different from draft dodging, which is when people try to trick or lie to the government to avoid being drafted. Draft resistance means to refuse to join the military without cheating or lying.
