Dzhanibekov effect

The Dzhanibekov Effect is a strange phenomenon that can happen when two objects are spinning at the same time and then bump into each other. When two spinning objects bump into each other, the effect causes their paths to change so that they go in unexpected directions. This is strange because when two objects bump into each other, we would expect them to simply stop or move away from each other in opposite directions. The Dzhanibekov Effect is named after the cosmonaut, Rustam Dzhanibekov, who first noticed it when he was in space.
