Earth Changes

Earth changes means things like earthquakes and volcanoes, which are natural events that cause changes in the ground and the land around us. Earthquakes are caused when two pieces of land or rock move suddenly and sharply against each other. Volcanoes are created when hot liquid rock rises up from deep inside the Earth, and pushes out of the ground like a big explosion. These events can cause land to move, shake and change shape, or cause mountains and hills to form. They can also make rivers change direction, or create new lakes or oceans.
