Ecocide

Ecocide is when people cause damage to the environment, like destroying a habitat and the species that live in it. It can happen when somebody cuts down a forest, or uses too much water, or when someones company pollutes a river. Ecocide harms the animals and plants that live in that area, and it makes it difficult for them to survive. This can have a bad impact on the planet and everyone who lives here.
