War on drugs

The war on drugs is when a country (like the U.S.) tries to stop people from using drugs, like cocaine or heroin. They try to prevent drugs from entering their country and make it hard for people to get drugs. They might have laws that send people to jail if they are caught with them. They also have special police and other agents that try to catch people who are selling or using drugs.
