Effeminacy

Effeminacy is when a boy or a man behaves, looks, or talks like a girl or a woman. It's like when you want to play with dolls and wear pretty dresses instead of playing with cars and wearing shorts. Sometimes people say that boys who are effeminate are "girly", which means they act like girls. But it doesn't mean that they want to be girls, it just means that they have some traits or habits that are more common in girls than in boys.

Effeminate boys might have a high-pitched voice, walk or move softly, like pink or pastel colors, or prefer to play with toys that are traditionally associated with girls. Some people might think that this is not normal or that the boy is wrong to behave this way, but it's important to remember that everyone is different and it's okay to be who you are.

It's also important to know that being effeminate doesn't make someone less of a boy or less of a man. Boys can like what they like, and they can still be strong, brave, and capable even if they don't fit into traditional gender roles. It's important to be kind and accepting of people who are different from us, no matter what their gender expression might be.
