El Niño–Southern Oscillation

El Niño-Southern Oscillation is a natural climate pattern that occurs on Earth. It causes changes in temperature and weather all over the world. El Niño is when the ocean waters in the Pacific Ocean near the equator become warmer than normal. This means it gets really hot in some parts of the world, and really cold in others. Southern Oscillation is when the air pressure over the Pacific Ocean changes. This can cause strong winds, heavy rain, and other weather changes.
