Elite theory

Elite theory is an idea that suggests that the people with the most power in society make most of the decisions. These powerful people, called “elites,” could be politicians, business owners, and other leaders who have authority. They are the ones who have the most influence over how people live their lives and how the world works. Elite theory says that these people have so much control, that they can choose what happens and what doesn’t, while the rest of us don’t have much say.
