Epic of Gilgamesh

The Epic of Gilgamesh is an ancient poem from Mesopotamia (now Iraq). It tells the story of a powerful king named Gilgamesh, who goes on a journey to find out the secret of eternal life. Along the way, he meets many strange and wonderful creatures, battles gods and monsters, and learns valuable lessons about life, death, and friendship. The story of Gilgamesh is thousands of years old and still very meaningful today!
