Epidemiology

Epidemiology is the study of how diseases spread in a population. For example, if a lot of people in a certain area all get sick with the same sickness, then epidemiologists might work to figure out what caused it. They do this by looking at things like where people live, what they eat, how much they exercise, or other factors that might be linked to the sickness. By doing this, epidemiologists can help us understand the cause of diseases and how to prevent more people from getting sick.
