Estonian War of Independence

The Estonian War of Independence happened in Estonia, which is a country in Europe. Lots of different countries wanted control of Estonia, but the Estonian people wanted to govern their own country themselves.

During the war, Estonian soldiers fought against soldiers from Russia and Germany, who were both trying to take over Estonia. The Estonian soldiers won the war in 1920 and Estonia became an independent country again.

The war was really hard for the Estonian people. They didn't have much food or money, and many people had to leave their homes because of the fighting. But they were really brave and kept fighting for their freedom until they won.

Now, Estonians are really proud of their country and celebrate their independence every year on February 24th.
