Ethnicity

Ethnicity is what makes you and your friends, family, and other people unique. It's like having a special marker that says where you come from and what your background is.

You know how different animals have different colors and stripes, like zebras are black and white or tigers are orange with black stripes? Well, people have different ethnic backgrounds, which means they have different colors, cultures, and traditions that make them special.

For example, some people have ancestors that come from Africa, Europe, Asia, or South America, which gives them a different skin color or hair texture. Other things that make people's ethnicity unique might be the way they dress, the food they eat, the language they speak, or the music and dances they enjoy.

But even though people are different, it's important to treat everyone with respect and kindness, regardless of their ethnicity. So just like you wouldn't judge a zebra for having stripes instead of spots, you shouldn't judge people based on their skin color or cultural background. Celebrate the differences that make everyone special!
