Evolutionary failure

Evolutionary failure happens when an animal, plant, or organism is not able to adapt to changes in their environment. Just like how we have to put on a hat and jacket when it's cold outside, animals have to change and adapt in order to survive. When an animal is not able to do this, they may not be able to find food, escape from predators, or mate with other animals. This can result in their population decreasing or even dying out completely. It's like trying to wear sandals and shorts in the snow – it doesn't work and can make things very difficult!
