Evolutionary history of life

Evolutionary history of life means the way different kinds of organisms have changed and adapted over time. Every living thing on this planet—from plants and animals to fungi and bacteria—had a common ancestor from millions of years ago. Those original organisms have slowly evolved over time to become the plants, animals, and other life forms that we see around us today. A lot of things had to happen for that to take place. Things like getting sunlight, eating food, and moving around were all important parts of helping those organisms evolve into the variety that we see today.
