Expendable launch system

Okay kiddo, let me explain what is an expendable launch system in a very simple way. You know how you throw away paper after you finish writing or drawing on it? Similarly, an expendable launch system is a rocket that we use to launch things like satellites and spacecraft into space, but after it has been used once, we throw it away.

When we launch things into space, we need a lot of fuel and power to get them up there. That's why we need a rocket, and once we light the engine, it propels the rocket off the ground and into space. But the rocket can only carry so much fuel and equipment to propel it into space. Once it uses up all its fuel, it cannot return to Earth and has to be discarded. That's why it's called an expendable launch system - once it's been used up, we cannot reuse it.

The rocket has several parts, and each one is responsible for different things like carrying the payload (what we want to take into space), guiding the rocket into the right direction, and providing power to the engines. All these parts come together to create a launch system that can fly into space.

Expendable launch systems come in different sizes, shapes, and designs. Some are small, like the ones we use to launch small satellites, while others are big, like the ones we use to send astronauts and spacecraft to the moon or beyond.

So, in simple words, expendable launch systems are rockets that we use to launch things into space, but once they are used up, we throw them away.
