Factoid

A factoid is a small piece of information that is either true or believed to be true. It can be about anything, such as a person, a place, an event, a thing, or a concept. Factoids often include things that you might learn in school, like who the first president of the United States was, or what year the first airplane was invented. They're usually easy to remember and can be fun to share with friends.
