ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Fatigue

Fatigue means that you feel very tired, even when you haven't been doing anything very active. It's kind of like your body feels heavy and a little slow, and you don't have much energy to do things that you normally enjoy doing.

Sometimes, people can feel fatigued because they haven't slept enough or because they are sick. Other times, fatigue can be caused by things like stress, anxiety, or even just a lack of physical activity.

There are some things that you can do to help combat fatigue, though. For example, you can try to get enough sleep at night, and you can make sure to eat healthy foods that give your body the energy it needs to function well. You can also try to exercise regularly, because that can help boost your energy levels and make you feel better overall.

Sometimes, though, fatigue can be a sign of a more serious medical condition, so it's important to talk to a doctor if you are feeling very tired all the time, even when you are doing things to take care of yourself.
