ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Feminist economics

Feminist Economics is about understanding how different economic policies, systems, and laws help or hurt women. It looks at how economic activities like getting a job, taking care of a family, and buying and selling things affect women differently than men. It also examines how different cultures and societies value women and how this affects economic activities. Feminist Economics seeks to create economic solutions that make sure everyone — no matter their gender — is treated fairly when it comes to the economy.
