Field archery is like going on an adventure quest, but with a bow and arrow!
First, you need to wear special clothes to protect you from the weather, like a hat and jacket. You also need special shoes to walk on the different terrain.
Field archery happens outside, in a big area called a course. The course has different zones or stations where you stand and shoot your arrows at targets.
The targets are usually made of foam, and they look like animals, like a deer or a bear. You need to aim at the center of the target and try to hit it with your arrow.
Each target is in a different place and distance, so you need to walk and follow a path to find them all. Sometimes the path can be steep or rocky, so you need to be careful where you step.
The fun part of field archery is that you get to challenge yourself and practice your accuracy and strength with the bow and arrow. You also get to enjoy the outdoors and connect with nature while doing it!
