Filesystem-level encryption

Filesystem-level encryption is a way of keeping your data safe. It means that all of the files stored on your computer or other device are encrypted, which makes it hard for anyone who doesn't have the correct key (picture a special code) to open those files. Even if someone was able to get their hands on the files, they wouldn't be able to read them without the correct key. This helps to protect your information and make sure it stays secret.
