Fire control tower

Okay, kiddo. Have you ever seen a really tall building with windows overlooking a big area? That's kind of what a fire control tower looks like, except it's usually in a forest or wild area where there might be a fire.

So, think about it like this. When there's a fire, it's really important for the firefighters to know where it is and how big it is so they can put it out as quickly as possible. A fire control tower is like a lookout post that gives firefighters a really good view of the area so they can spot fires from far away.

Inside the tower, there are usually stairs that firefighters climb up to the top where there is a little room. From there, they can use binoculars or other tools to see if there are any fires in the area. If they spot one, they can quickly tell their team where it is and what they need to do to put it out.

So, a fire control tower helps firefighters to do their jobs better by giving them a high and clear view of the surrounding area to spot fires early and quickly take action to put them out.
