Folwark

Folwark is a type of farming village in Eastern Europe. It is a self-contained community that includes a central village, a surrounding area of land, and everything needed to run the farm. This includes houses and buildings for the people who live there, farmland, pastures and meadows, streams and ponds, and forests. Folwark villages also often have a mill, churches, and a market place. Folwarks are responsible for producing food, textiles, and other goods for the people who live in the region.
