Forensic photography

Forensic photography is when someone takes pictures of important things at a crime scene so that police and other people can use them to investigate and solve crimes. Think of it like taking pictures for a very important storybook.

The person taking the pictures is called a forensic photographer. They use a special camera and lenses to take very clear, detailed pictures of everything at the crime scene. They take pictures of the things that might have been used to commit the crime, like weapons or tools, as well as any marks or footprints they find. They also take pictures of the surroundings, like where everything is located in the room, so they can get an idea of what happened.

All of the pictures they take need to be very accurate so that when the detectives and investigators study them, they can use them to figure out what happened and who was involved. Sometimes, the pictures are even used as evidence in court to help prove what happened.

So just like taking pictures for a storybook, forensic photography is all about making sure that every important detail is captured to help solve a puzzle and bring justice to those who were hurt.
