Four Asian Tigers

The Four Asian Tigers are four countries in the South-East Asia region which have had very strong economic growth over the past 40 years or so. The countries are South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore. They achieved this economic success by working hard to develop and improve their industries, such as manufacturing. They also encouraged education and exported a lot of products to other countries. All of this meant that the Four Asian Tigers have grown very wealthy and successful.
