ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Fractal cosmology

Fractal cosmology is a theory about the structure of the universe. It proposes that the universe is made up of an infinite number of tiny pieces that fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. These pieces, called fractals, can be big or small and are arranged in patterns. The idea is that each part of the universe is connected to another part, no matter how far apart they are from each other. This means that what's happening in one part of the universe might affect the other. To understand this better, think of a pizza that's been cut up into pieces; each piece is connected to another piece, so when you move one piece it affects how the other pieces are arranged.

In the same way, a fractal cosmology proposes that the same pattern of connection is true of the universe as a whole. Even though the pieces of the universe are really far apart, they all fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, with each part affecting the other parts.
