Fractals

A fractal is something that looks the same no matter how much you zoom in or out. It's like a puzzle - it looks different when you look at the whole thing, but if you look at a part of it, it looks the same as the whole thing. For example, a fern looks like one big leaf, but if you look closer, it looks like a bunch of smaller leaves - and if you look even closer, it looks like even tinier leaves! A fractal is like the fern - it looks the same no matter how much you zoom in.
