Freedom of the Press

Freedom of the press means people are allowed to say what they want in the news or on TV without worrying about the government stopping them. It means journalists can write stories and take pictures of news events and that TV reporters can talk about what they see and hear. It also means people can freely share their opinions and ideas without worrying that the government will punish them. It is important so people know what’s going on in the world.
