French Colonial Forces

Okay kiddo, let me explain what French colonial forces are.

A long time ago, France used to own a bunch of land all over the world. They called these places colonies. And whenever the colonies got into trouble, France would send soldiers from their army over to help out.

These soldiers were called colonial forces because they were sent to protect the French colonies. They would help keep the people in line and make sure everything was going okay.

Some of the colonies were in Africa, Asia, and even in North America a long time ago. The French used to have a big empire with lots of colonies!

But as time went on, some of the colonies didn't want to be controlled by France anymore. They wanted to be their own countries. So, France had to leave those places and the colonial forces were no longer needed.

But that's how French colonial forces worked, they were soldiers sent over to help protect the French colonies a long time ago.
