Frivolous or vexatious

A frivolous or vexatious claim is when someone files a request for something, like a court case or legal action, that really isn't valid and isn't going to lead to a helpful solution. It's usually asking for something that isn't important or is too hard to prove. For example, if you filed a court case asking that everyone in the world must say "hello" to you every day, that would be considered a frivolous or vexatious claim.
