Gaffe

Okay kiddo, a gaffe is when a person makes a mistake that embarrasses themselves and others around them. Just like when you spilled your juice on the floor and everyone laughed, but you felt silly for it. But a gaffe can happen when someone says something that they shouldn't have said or does something that they shouldn't have done in front of others. It's important to be careful with our words and actions, so we don't accidentally make a gaffe and embarrass ourselves.
