Generalized linear model

A generalized linear model is a type of mathematical model that uses a linear equation to predict a variable. It is used to predict the outcome of an event, given a set of factors. For example, you could use a generalized linear model to predict a person's height, given their age and weight. The linear equation in the model takes the age and weight of a person as inputs, and returns an output which is the predicted height.
