Generative systems

Generative systems are computer programs that can create things, often things that seem like they could have been made by humans. For example, a generative system could be used to create a painting that looks like a real-life landscape or a piece of music that sounds like a real song. They work by taking information from existing things (like existing paintings or pieces of music) and using it to create something new.
