Genetic pollution

Genetic pollution is when man-made changes that happen to an organism's genetic makeup can spread to other, wild organisms. It's like if you made a chemical to kill pests but then the chemical changes some of the plants it comes in contact with. It could cause bad effects like making the plants grow less food or causing them to be more easily hurt by diseases.
