Geographic information systems in geospatial intelligence

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are computer systems that can store, analyze, and show information about places on the Earth. GIS can show roads, rivers, countries, cities, farms and other features all on the same map. In Geospatial Intelligence, GIS is used to analyze information about different places on the Earth and create reports that help people make decisions. For example, GIS can show which areas are most safe or dangerous, or where businesses are doing better than others. GIS can also be used to predict how things will change over time based on past data and trends. So, if you wanted to know where the safest place is to live, or where businesses will do well in the future, GIS can help you answer those questions.
