Geology of Cornwall

Hey kiddo, do you remember that time we walked on the beach in Cornwall and you found some pretty rocks? Those rocks are actually a part of the geology of Cornwall!

So basically, Cornwall is a place in England where there are lots of rocks and different types of land. Long ago, the ground moved a lot and created some really interesting shapes in the rocks. Some of the rocks are even really old and they tell us what life was like millions of years ago!

Another thing that makes Cornwall special is the fact that there are lots of old mines where people used to dig for metal. That's right, people actually went underground and dug up rocks to find useful things like tin and copper. These mines are like big tunnels in the ground and some of them are even open for you to explore!

Lastly, Cornwall is special because it's right by the ocean. The waves and currents of the sea have a big impact on the rocks and create some amazing cliffs and coves. It's a really beautiful place with lots to see and explore!
