George Floyd protests

Okay, kiddo. So, you know how when someone is mean to you or someone you love, it makes you feel upset and angry, right? Well, that's kind of what's happening in some parts of the world right now with these protests.

A little while ago, a man named George Floyd was hurt very badly by a police officer in America. It was really sad and made a lot of people very angry and upset because they felt like it wasn't fair or right for the police officer to hurt him like that.

So, many people started to come together to protest and show how they felt about what happened to George Floyd. They want the police to be more careful and respectful when they are doing their jobs, especially when they are dealing with people who look different than them.

Some people are holding signs and talking to other people about how they feel, while others are marching together in large groups. It's all a way to show that they want things to change in their country, so that everyone can feel safe and treated fairly.

It can be a scary and confusing time, but it's important to remember that people are coming together to try and make things better for everyone.
