Glove

A glove is like a little hat for your hand. It covers your fingers, thumbs, and palm to keep your hands warm, clean, or protected. Just like putting on a jacket in the winter to keep you warm, you wear gloves on your hands to keep them warm, especially when you're outside on a cold day. Gloves can come in different shapes, sizes, and materials, depending on their use. Some gloves are made of wool, others from leather or rubber, depending on the activities you do while wearing them. If you're playing in the snow, you might wear thick gloves made of wool or other soft fabrics both to keep your hands warm and to keep the snow and ice from touching your skin.
