ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Great Attractor

The Great Attractor is a mysterious force that is pulling galaxies in our part of the universe towards it. It's like if you were standing on a beach and the waves were pulling you along - except the Great Attractor is made of gravity instead of water! Scientists believe it is a huge collection of invisible matter that is so massive that its gravitational pull can affect all of the galaxies in our area. The exact location of the Great Attractor is still unknown, but it's estimated to be somewhere between 250 million and 500 million light years from Earth.
