Gregorian calendar

The Gregorian calendar is the calendar that most of us use today. It has 365 days in a regular year, and 366 days in a leap year. In a regular year, there are 12 months, with 28, 30, or 31 days in each month. In a leap year, February has an extra day. The Gregorian calendar was created by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582, and it is the most used calendar in the world today.
