ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Group process

Group process is like playing a game with your friends. You all need to work together to make the game fun and fair.

When you are playing a game, you have to talk to your friends and figure out what you need to do to win. This is called communication.

You also have to listen to your friends’ ideas and feelings, and be respectful of them. This is called empathy.

Sometimes, you might get stuck or disagree with your friends about what to do next. This is okay, and it’s called a conflict. To solve the conflict, you all need to work together and find a solution that everyone agrees on. This is called cooperation.

Finally, when the game is over, you all need to reflect on what you did well and what you could improve next time. This is called evaluation.

Just like playing a game, group process is important because it helps people work together and achieve a common goal. Whether it’s playing a game, doing a school project, or working on a job, group process is essential for success.
