Guidance, navigation, and control

Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) is like having a map and a GPS in an airplane. The map tells the pilot where to go but the GPS helps guide the pilot to their destination. The Control part is like when the pilot uses the control stick, throttles, and rudder pedals to move the airplane and help it reach its destination safely.
