Gyeongdan is a sweet traditional Korean snack that is made from rice flour and sweet bean paste. Imagine playing with some clay and rolling it into tiny balls like marbles. Now imagine those tiny balls made out of rice flour and sweet bean paste. They're about as small as your pinky nail!
The rice flour is mixed with water to form a dough, and then the sweet bean paste is added in the middle. The dough is then rolled into little balls, and boiled until they are cooked through. After boiling, they are often coated with sesame seeds or rice flour to make them more delicious.
Gyeongdan is often eaten as a snack or dessert in Korea. They can be enjoyed alone or with other delicious treats like tea or hot chocolate. Some people also prefer to eat them as a topping for ice cream! And even though they look like little marbles, they're definitely not meant for playing - they're meant for eating!
