Hemshin peoples

Hemshin peoples are a group of people who live in parts of Turkey and Georgia. They have a unique history and culture that sets them apart from other groups in the region.

Long ago, Hemshin peoples were mainly farmers who lived in the area around the Black Sea coast. Over time, some of them converted to Christianity, while others became Muslims. This led to a lot of cultural mixing and blending, with Hemshin people taking on influences from both the Christian and Muslim worlds.

Today, Hemshin peoples are known for their distinctive language, which is a mix of Turkish and Armenian. They also have their own traditional dress, music, and dances that are important parts of their culture.

Despite facing some discrimination in certain parts of Turkey, Hemshin peoples have managed to preserve their customs and ways of life over the years. They are proud of their heritage and are working hard to keep it alive for future generations to come.
