Heterodoxy

Heterodoxy is when someone holds different ideas or beliefs than what is considered to be the "normal" or "accepted" way of thinking. In other words, someone who is heterodox has views or opinions that are different from what most people think. Think of it like this: if there's a bunch of friends who like ice cream and you like cake instead, then you are being heterodox because you have a different opinion than the majority.
